Keremane - House By The Lake Architectural Film
A small site by a secluded river in the middle of urban Bangalore, reimagined by two architects - the Kanades - as homes and with them lifestyles that broke the social stereotype. They designed the "Keremane" - a group housing project redefined by tailor-making each unit as per the user's preferences while keeping it modular.
The film was to encompass the aspects of design, construction, material and overall philosophy in under five minutes, as a precursor to a larger film for academic viewing.
We spent many days with the architects not just in Keremane but in their home town, as a result of which we were able to stitch many short films around their practice in a documentary format.
